General Conditions of Travel, Payments and Cancellations

All travellers must carry a valid passport with a minimum validity of 6 months from the date of entry to the destination. In addition, it is the sole responsibility of each traveller to obtain all necessary travel documents in accordance with the requirements established by the relevant embassy and previously informed.

The traveller should also ensure that he/she complies with vaccination requirements, if any, and should inform him/herself about these before departure.

Any breach of these requirements may lead to the application of the cancellation conditions.

Insurance, Trip Cancellation and Interruption, Baggage and Medical/Accident Insurance

It is compulsory for all travellers to take out trip cancellation and interruption insurance, as well as medical and accident insurance to cover possible unforeseen events during the course of the trip.

Travel to IraqWe are not responsible for any unforeseen circumstances that may arise during the trip to Iraq, including but not limited to security issues, changes in local regulations or any other incident beyond our control.

Baggage: Travel to Iraq is not responsible for loss, damage or destruction of baggage before, during or after the trip. Travellers are advised to purchase adequate insurance to cover these risks.

Programming conditions

As the programme may coincide with local holidays or maintenance closures, it is possible that some activities may be modified or suspended. Every effort will be made to adhere to the planned itinerary.. In the event that an activity cannot be carried out, a suitable alternative will be offered to ensure a satisfactory experience.

Deposit Payments, Fees and Final Payments

To guarantee the booking of the trip, a deposit of 50% of the total cost of the trip will be required. Payment of the deposit, as well as any partial or full payment made for the booking, shall constitute full acceptance of the general travel, payment and cancellation conditions set out herein.

Final payment must be made 45 days before the departure date of the trip. If final payment is not received within this period, the booking will be automatically cancelled and the cancellation conditions detailed below will apply.

If the booking is made less than 45 days prior to departure, full payment will be required immediately to guarantee the booking.

All payments must be made by bank transfer.

In case of a request for a change in the reservation after confirmation, an administrative fee of 50 euros will be charged. This change will only be possible if it can be made, subject to availability. If the change is not possible, the cancellation conditions apply.

Payment and Cancellation Conditions

  1. Total PaymentThe full payment for the trip must be made at least 45 days before the departure date of the trip. If full payment is not received by this date, the booking will be automatically cancelled and the cancellation conditions detailed below will apply.
  2. CancellationsAny request for cancellation or refund must be submitted in writing to IRAQ TRAVEL. The following charges will apply depending on how far in advance the cancellation is made:
    • 90 to 60 days before departure250 euros per passenger.
    • 60 to 45 days before departure50% of the deposit paid.
    • 44 to 0 days before departureNo refund will be made.
  3. Post-Departure CancellationsAny changes or cancellations made after the departure of the trip will be at the client's expense, and the cost of the trip will not be refunded.

Limitation of Liability

IRAQ TRAVEL is not responsible for any change in the requirements for entry to the destination or for boarding the aircraft due to lack of proper documentation by the traveller, such as passport, visas, or any other required documents.

Also, IRAQ TRAVEL assumes no responsibility for situations beyond its control, such as pandemics, natural disasters, strikes, flight or transport delays, theft, loss of baggage, or any other unforeseen incident affecting the progress of the trip.

The traveller is responsible for informing himself/herself about and complying with the entry, health and safety requirements set by the local authorities, and accepts that any incident related to non-compliance with these requirements is his/her sole responsibility.

In the event that the trip is affected by any of the circumstances mentioned above, IRAQ TRAVEL shall make every effort to offer viable and suitable alternatives, such as rerouting or rescheduling of the journey, conditions permitting. However, IRAQ TRAVEL shall not be obliged to provide refunds or compensation if the interruption or modification is caused by circumstances beyond its control.
